Meet the Staff

Dr. Thomas Doyle

Dr. Thomas Doyle received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and medical degree from Columbia University then completed residency in Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University. He has practiced as a board-certified emergency physician in the Pittsburgh area since 1993.

Dr. Doyle participated in extensive medical releif missions in Louisiana and Mississippi after hurricane Katrina and in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. He has a speciality training in ultrasound guided procedures, phlebology, vein surgery and vascular and neuromuscular disorders of the extremities. 

Abbie Altman

Nurse Practitioner

Abbie is an ANCC Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from University of Massachusetts Boston with high honors. She has over three years of interventional pain management experience. She has extensive experience doing major and minor joint injections including trigger finger, carpal tunnel, elbows, knees and hips. She has attended training on cadavers for joint and trigger point injections at Northwestern College in Chicago. She recently worked physical medicine and rehab here in Pittsburgh where she delivered excellent care to residents of five different nursing facilities.


Abbie concentrates on caring for people in all stages of life. She was the owner of Community Table Project, a 501(c)3 soup kitchen and food pantry in San Antonio, TX. This project served over 500 hot free meals each week and had a food pantry for replenishing family food supplies. Abbie has a three pound Yorkie, Oscar, three daughters and 4 grandchildren. 

Bonnie Rodgers

Nurse Practitioner

Bonnie is a seasoned ANCC Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years.  She graduated in 1998 from the University of Pittsburgh and was awarded honors from the  Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.   She has 20 years of experience in the emergency department and  over 10 years in Occupational Medicine.  She is passionate about quality patient care, efficiency and process improvement. 


In her free time,  she enjoys kayaking, bicycling and walking her dog.  She has over 20 years in Martial Arts training with 10 years as an instructor.  She earned a Black Belt in Okinawan Kenpo and a Brown Belt in Larry Tatum American Kenpo.   She also has training in the mixed martial arts.
